Evidence Implementation: Essential skills for practice change

This Evidence Implementation workshop is a one-day introduction into the wonderful world of implementing research evidence into practice. In the workshop we will explore the principles involved in evidence implementation, introduce a range of implementation strategies, learn to use a simple project design to construct an implementation project, and evaluate changes in practice.

This workshop is designed for registered nurses and midwives who are seeking to implement evidence to improve practice in their clinical area. Participants should have already attended the Nursing Research Centre’s Finding evidence for your clinical practice and policies (EBP workshop) or participated in other EBP education in order to have the necessary skills and knowledge to gain the most benefit from this education.

It is expected that those who attend with the support of their work area will either initiate or be involved in the development and implementation of an evidence based project in their clinical area.
