Debbie Shotton

Delivering meaningful Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities that transfer straight to clinical practice for health professionals is what drives Debbie.

In her role as Education Coordinator for CPD, she develops, facilitates and manages a number of clinical programmes largely relevant to health professionals working in the Women, Mothers, and Babies space.

Debbie is a trained midwife with more than 10 years clinical experience, where she specialised in the area of postnatal care. Prior to taking up her role at Mater Education she was a clinical facilitator at Mater Mothers’ Hospital.

Debbie is always adding to her skill set and is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Flexible Learning and Simulation for Health Professionals.

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
