Melanie has 13 years’ experience in clinical education, specialising in critical care, resuscitation and simulation.

As the Mater Education Programs Manager, she provides governance across Mater Health Services including:

  • structured education programs
  • clinical placements
  • the Mater Education Practice Improvement Centre (MEPIC).

Melanie completed a Clinical Fellowship through the Joanna Briggs Nursing Research Centre that focused on implementing an interprofessional basic life support simulation program.
She has also spoken at both national and international conferences on simulation.
