Mater Education’s Simulation Manager Sharon Clipperton was recently appointed to the executive team of the Australian Society for Simulation in Healthcare (ASSH), giving Mater national representation in the global discussion around simulation.

Mater Education takes ‘speaking up’ concepts to Hong Kong

Mater Education’s Director of Simulation Melanie Barlow will be presenting in Hong Kong next month on the importance of ‘speaking up’ in healthcare; she will deliver an interactive talk at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University on 14 June and present at the Fourth International Conference on Linguistics and Language Studies on 15 June.

Diploma of Nursing leads to new opportunities

After being a stay-at-home mum for several years, Kylee Murtagh is excited to have recently re-entered the workforce as an Enrolled Nurse Screener with the Healthy Hearing program at Mater Mothers’ Hospitals, following her graduation from the Diploma of Nursing in December 2017.
