Quality Improvement: how to get started

News

Mater Education invites you to attend this Australian-first Quality Improvement workshop.

The program is designed to improve patient outcomes and protect the quality of care delivered when healthcare systems are overloaded and under pressure, by nurturing a culture of continuous improvement.

This 10 step quality improvement framework will be presented by renowned specialist, Dr Khalid Aziz Professor of Pediatrics and Adjunct Professor, Division of Community Engagement at University of Alberta, Neonatologist in the Edmonton Neonatal Program, and member of Evidence-based Practice for Improving Quality (EPIQ) in Canada.

Dr Aziz has presented and adapted this highly-regarded framework for healthcare organisations around the world, and will be presenting for the first time in Australia, hosted by Mater Education.

Participants will learn collaborative, evidence-based practices and skills to enhance the delivery of safe, effective, consistent and timely, patient-centred care, while using resources efficiently.
