Mater Education to launch new Junior Doctor wellbeing program

News

Mater Education is proud to be collaborating with Queensland Health to support the wellbeing of junior doctors across Queensland through the delivery of a new suite of e-Learning modules.

Designed by leading experts and stakeholders, the modules take a holistic approach to identifying the unique workplace stressors and pressures facing Queensland’s junior doctors and address critical topics including:

  • managing workload
  • selfcare and effective work practice
  • managing stress
  • career development and professional wellbeing, and
  • training for supervisors.

The learning program aims to support participants by equipping them with a framework, tools and techniques to use at the commencement and throughout their career.

The program will launch in early 2023.
