Record registrations for Mater Education’s Virtual Open Day

Mater Education’s first Virtual Open Day was a huge success, receiving a record number of registrations. The online event, held last week, saw over 400 registrants invited to explore Mater Education from the comfort of their own home.

Welcomed by Mater Education’s Executive Director, Donna Bonney, attendees were able to explore our range of healthcare courses, learn about career outcomes and watch information sessions on important details such as fees, eligibility requirements and application processes.

Registrants also had the opportunity to book a personalised, one-on-one call with our Student Services team members to ask any questions and learn how they can start their healthcare career.

Mater Education’s General Manager of Education and Training, Barry Hankinson, was proud to present the first Virtual Open Day, “We’re excited to offer an Open Day experience to those who perhaps don’t live locally or are unable to attend a physical Open Day, for the first time”

“Given the success and interest expressed in our online event, we are looking to host Virtual Open Days as well as our regular physical Open Days in the future. We want to give everyone who is interested in a healthcare career the opportunity to learn how Mater Education can give them the skills and confidence to pursue their dream job.”
