Mater Mothers' First Aid for Babies

Mater Mothers’ Hospitals, in collaboration with Mater Education, is proud to offer a first aid course designed specifically for parents with babies. The 2.5 hour course will equip parents with the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for their baby should they face an emergency. Participants learn to identify, respond to and manage common baby injuries and emergencies immediately and know when it’s time to go to hospital.

The Mater Mothers' First Aid for Babies course was developed by a highly qualified and experienced team, including educators who train Mater’s exceptional staff. It has been endorsed by clinicians working across both Mater Mothers’ Hospitals’ Neonatal Critical Care Unit and Mater Children’s Private Brisbane.
