Medical Administration course launches Renee into a new job in healthcare

News

After injuring herself in 2017, 29 year old mum of five, Renee, was told the heartbreaking news that she could no longer continue employment as a personal carer.

“I was devastated to be told by the doctor that my injury meant I could no longer continue my role. I struggled for two years to find employment after that, so I started to look into my options. Having a career was very important to me and I wanted to stay within the healthcare industry.”

Renee’s search led her to Mater Education’s Medical Administration four day workshop where she was encouraged by educator, Jan, to pursue her passion in healthcare.

“Jan shared some upcoming healthcare job opportunities with the cohort and supported us in our application. One position was at a pathology lab as a medical administrator. I submitted my application and received a call back saying that I had got the job!”

“I love how exciting and positive the work environment is. I have truly found the best job surrounded by amazing work colleagues.”

“I would not be where I am today without doing this course and I could not have done it without the support from our educator, Jan.”

Whether you want to gain the skills to prepare for a role in medical administration, or you want to upskill in your current healthcare position, our Medical Administration will build your confidence in the healthcare industry.
