High School Health Adventure Nursing Experience

Are you interested in a career in nursing? If you're eager to find out what a day in the life of a Nurse entails, our High School Health Adventure Nursing experience is for you. Mater Education’s intensive one-day Introduction to a career in Nursing is designed for students in Year 10, 11 and 12 who are interested in this career pathway. You will be taken inside the dynamic and rewarding field of nursing, where you can gain first-hand experience of the range of roles on offer.

This program has been designed to create a realistic experience of 'a day in the life' of a Nurse. The utilization of simulation with manikins, skills stations, digital technology and case-based scenarios help to create this real-world learning in a unique environment for high school students.

Students will have access to current practicing clinicians who will be able to share their experience as a health professional and provide an opportunity for the students to ask questions

This experience will cover basic health professional understanding with a focus on nursing care. You will spend the day immersed in this fast-paced world.

This program is delivered on-site at Mater Education’s world class medical simulation facility.

Our High School Health Adventure Nursing Experience course is designed for high school students in years 10, 11, and 12 who are interested in exploring a day in the life of a nurse.
