Ms Strickland-Bellamy joins Mater from Aurora Healthcare, where she has been Australian Chief Executive Officer and Director since 2021, successfully leading business performance for the network of 16 hospitals across the country.  

Beginning her career as a nurse, Ms Strickland-Bellamy has an impressive record of  

advancing healthcare services, improving patient outcomes, and leading teams through transformational change which aligns with Mater’s Mission to continue delivering world-class healthcare services to the communities we serve.

As she steps into her new role with Mater, Ms Strickland-Bellamy will focus on enhancing patient care quality, expanding services, and further integrating technology to ensure Mater effectively addresses the evolving healthcare needs of Queenslanders and their families.
