- word building—understanding stem words, prefixes and suffixes

- using medical terminology in both verbal and written communication.

Assessment is conducted throughout the course through quizzes and verbal activities. You’ll need access to a computer, ability to provide an audio assessment (e.g. computer or mobile phone recording), and the internet to complete your assessments, which you’ll submit through our online learning system.
Resources:
Students will require access to a reliable internet connection enabling access to Mater Education’s virtual learning environment, and a computer with up-to-date software, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Flash Player.

On successful completion of this Nationally Recognised Training course you’ll receive a Statement of Attainment for BSBMED301 Interpret and apply medical terminology appropriately (Australian citizens and residents only).
If you’re not an Australian citizen or resident, you’ll receive a statement of completion. -

This online learning module will take about 60 hours of your time. You can study at your own pace—whenever and wherever it’s convenient.Cost:
The course costs $200 (incl. GST), and includes both online resources and access to trainers for support. (Note: participants will require internet access).Refunds:
On enrolment Mater Education will provide you with online course materials via our Learning Management System.
Should you change your mind prior to commencing the program (i.e. you do not access the course materials) a full refund will apply, less a $15 administration fee.
